  1. In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking pwdr, salt and sugar. In a small bowl, beat Large eggs, lowfat milk and butter or possibly margarine. Add in to flour mix. Allow to stand abut 5 min.
  2. Pour by spoonfuls onto warm lightly greased skillet or possibly griddle. Cook till bubbles break on top. Turn and cook till underside is golden brown
  3. This recipe yields 15 pancakes.
  4. Variations:o Apple Pancakes: Add in 1 c. finely minced, peeled apple o Bacon Pancakes: Add in 3/4 c. cooked, liquid removed and crumbled bacon.
  5. o Banana Pancakes: Add in 1 large or possibly 2 small minced bananas.
  6. o Blueberry Pancakes: Add in 1 c. fresh or possibly frzn blueberries.
  7. o Chocolate Pancakes: Increase sugar to 1/3 c. and add in 1 square melted unsweetened chocolate.
  8. o Nut Pancakes: Add in 1/4 c. minced peanuts, pecans, walnuts or possibly filberts.
  9. o Pineapple Pancakes: Add in 1 c. crushed pineapple, well liquid removed.
  10. o Whole Wheat Pancakes: Substitute 1 c. whole wheat flour for 1 c. white flour.
