Ingredients
- 6 c. bread
- 1 can condensed lowfat milk
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. minced walnuts
Directions
- Break up day-old bread. Add in condensed lowfat milk and regular lowfat milk to barely cover. Soak. Beat Large eggs with sugar, nutmeg, cardamom and cinnamon. Don't over-spice. Combine all with raisins and walnuts, transfer to baking dish. Set in pan of shallow water, bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
