Ingredients
- 5 1/2 to 6 pound beef brisket
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. barbeque sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
Directions
- Place brisket, sauce, vinegar, smoke and sugar in cooking bag overnight. Bake at 275-300 degrees for 5 hrs. Cold and slice. Reserve 1 1/2 c. juice, skim fat.
- Place sliced brisket in large pan. Add in reserve juice, barbecue sauce and additional, brown sugar. Total of 1 lb. brown sugar for complete recipe. Wrap in foil and heat.
- (I do not add in additional sugar because it's so sweet, but you may like it.)
