  2. In saute/fry pan, saute/fry onion in oil over medium heat till transparent, about 5 min. Add in bananas and continue cooking for another 5 min. Add in jam, orange juice and sugar. Bring to a boil; continue cooking till thickened, about 30 min. Cold.
  3. Add in vinegar, lime juice, salt and pepper. Rewarm over low heat, stirring.
  4. Makes about 2 1/2 c..
