Ingredients
- 1Â 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp. packed light brown sugar
- 2Â 1/4 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 8 x minced dates dry
- 6 x dry apricot halves minced
- 1 x egg
- 1 x banana very ripe, mashed
- 1/4 c. skim lowfat milk
Directions
- Description: "Bananas, not fat, are what give this dense loaf its moist texture.
- Toast it and top with nonfat cream cheese for a speedy breakfast or possibly snack."
- NOTES :Tip: If you do not have any baking pwdr on hand, make your own for each 1 tsp. baking power use 1/4 tsp. baking soda and 5/8 tsp. cream of tartar, combined. Homemade baking pwdr doesn't store well; make only what you will use right away.
