Ingredients
- 2 Spanish onions
- 1 T butter
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 3/4 c. chicken bouillon
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 2 T melted butter
- 1/4 c. sharp Cheddar, grated
Directions
- Peel and thickly slice. Arrange onions, overlapping as needed. Add in thyme to bouillon. Pour over onions. Dot with 1 tbsp butter. Cover and bake at 400 degrees for 20 min. Toss bread crumbs in melted butter. Add in cheese. Sprinkle over onions. Bake uncovered 10 min. 6 servings.
