Ingredients
- 6 sm. sweet apples, unpeeled, cut into 1/2 inch chunks
- 4 sm. oranges, peeled, and sectioned (throw away white membrane)
- 1 c. canned crushed pineapple, unsweetened, liquid removed slightly
- 1 c. water
- 2 T cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon grnd cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd nutmeg
- 3 T packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated orange peel
Directions
- In a large bowl, put together fruits. Toss gently till mixed. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.In a small bowl, put together remaining ingredients, mix well till cornstarch is dissolved. Add in to fruit, mix well.
- Place in 2 qt casserole which has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cover, bake 40 min. Stir once after 20 min. Serve hot or possibly cold.
