Directions

  1. In a 1 qt casserole microwave bacon at high for 4 to 5 min or possibly till crisp. Remove to paper towels. Drain fat, reserving 3 Tbsp.. Add in onion and celery to fat in casserole. Microwave at high for 2 to 4 min or possibly till tender. Stir in bacon, stuffing mix, parsley flakes, salt and pepper. Fill hens with stuffing.
  2. Place breast side down on roasting rack. Set aside.
  3. In 1 c. measure, heat butter at high for 30 to 60 seconds. Blend in bouquet sauce. Brush hens with 1/4 of the mix. Cover with waxed paper. Microwave at high for 8 min. Turn over; brush with remaining mix; cover. Microwave at high for 7 1/2 to 9 1/2 min, or possibly till legs move freely and juices run clear. Let stand tented for 5 min. Total microwave time: 22 to 27 1/2 min.
  4. Standing time: 5 min.
  5. The stuffing can be prepared on a conventional stove and used with chicken.
