Bachelor Buttons Recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. Butter or possibly margarine 1 3/4 c. Sugar 2 x Large eggs well beaten 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

3 c. Flour 2 tsp Baking pwdr 1/2 tsp Salt Glace cherries

Directions

1. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Stir in Large eggs; add in vanilla.
2. Sift together flour, baking pwdr, and salt; stir into creamed mix.
3. Mix thoroughly. Drop by tsp. onto greased baking sheet. Put half a cherry on top of each "button". Bake 8-10 min at 425F.
