Directions
- Rinse beans, removing any foreign objects. Place in a large bowl and cover with water and allow to soak at room temperature overnight.
- Drain beans and place in a crockpot with the salsa and stir. Add in sufficient water just to cover the beans. Cover and cook on low all day, 8 - 10 hrs.
- Yield: 10 - 12 side dish servings or possibly 6 - 8 main dish servings.
- These freeze well.
- NOTES : Usually I cook beans with tomatoes only when i want the beans to stay a little hard. But here, it cooks 8 - 10 hrs. so maybe it does make a something which can be served with rice or possibly as a dip with tortillas....[PatH ]
