Ingredients
- 2 lb fresh asparagus, or possibly three
- 10 ounce pkgs. frzn asparagus spears
- 1 c. water
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- 3/4 c. bottled blue-cheese salad dressing
- 2 Tbsp. lowfat sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
Directions
- Wash fresh asparagus and break off ends. Place asparagus in large skillet with water, salt and sugar. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 5 min or possibly till crisp-tender. (Or possibly prepare frzn asparagus according to label directions, adding salt and sugar to cooking water.)
- To make dressing, combine blue-cheese salad dressing, lowfat sour cream and sesame seeds in small bowl. Serve dressing over asparagus.
