Ingredients
- 2 c. raisins
- 2 c. minced nuts
- 4 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 c. applesauce
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
Directions
- Put together raisins and nuts. Sift dry ingredients together over fruit and nuts. Mix. Add in applesauce, large eggs, oil. Stir till just blended. Grease and flour two 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pans. Divide batter evenly into pans. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till breads test done. Freezes well.
