Ingredients
- 6 c. apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. honey
- 2 Tbsp. whole wheat pastry flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Directions
- Combine the apples with the lemon juice. Fold in the honey and toss gently till coated. Mix flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add in to apples and toss again to mix. Place into an unbaked pie crust.
- Sprinkle with a few raisins or possibly grapenuts, if you like.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake an additional 30 min.
