Ingredients

  • 4 x Granny Smith apples each cut into eight wedges
  • 1/2 c. dry cranberries
  • 3 Tbsp. apple juice
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp grnd nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. reduced-calorie margarine chilled cut into small pcs vegetable cooking spray

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Combine first 3 ingredients (through apple juice) in a bowl. Toss well and set aside.
  2. Combine flour and next 4 ingredients (through nutmeg) in another bowl. Cut in margarine with a pastry blender till the mix resembles coarse meal.
  3. Place apple mix in an 8-inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray; sprinkle proportionately with flour mix. Lightly coat top with cooking spray. Cover and bake at 375F for 30 min. Uncover and bake an additional 20 min or possibly till apples are tender.
  4. Serves 6.
