  1. Method1 Place all the ingredients except sugar into a large preserving pan 2 Bring to the boil simmer till the apples are soft 3 Add in the sugar simmer till the chutney is of the desired consistency (about 3/4 l hour)
  2. 4 Allow to cold for 10 minutes5 Spoon into prepared jam jars seal and label
  3. Makes: 2.2kg approx
