Ingredients

  • 3 med apples cut in chunks
  • 2 med bananas cut into chunks
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine soften
  • 1 x 9" pastry shell unbaked

Directions

  1. Combine fruits and lemon juice; let stand 10 min. Combine flour, sugar and spices; cut in butter until crumbly. Arrange fruit in pastry shell. Sprinkle with crumb mix. Bake at 400 F for 35-40 min.
  2. Cover top lossely with foil if crumb mix browns too quickly. Cut in wedges to serve.
