Ingredients
- 6 x Matzos, broken in pcs
- 2 x Large eggs, separated
- 1 x Apple, peeled and diced
- 1 Tbsp. Shortening
Directions
- Cover matzos with water then squeeze out as much as possible. Add in apple and fat. Beat yolks into mix, season with salt and sugar to taste. Beat egg whites till stiff, mix in above gently. Pour inot pre-heated, greased casserole. Bake in slow oven (300 F.) about 1 hr. till top has an even brown crust.
