Ingredients
- 6 c. Self-rising flour
- 2 x -(up to)
- 3 Tbsp. Sugar
- 2 c. Buttermilk
- 1 c. Shortening
- 1 x Yeast cake
- 1/4 c. Hot water
Directions
- Dissolve yeast in water. Sift dry ingredients together in large bowl. Fold in shortening. Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients & mix well.
- Store in refrigerator till needed. Roll out amount desired & let rise 1 hour. Bake at400 degrees.
