Ingredients
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 large eggs, well beaten
- 5 T butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 2/3 c. water
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 T white corn syrup
- 2 drops red food coloring
- 2 T cornstarch
- 1 (3 ounce) pkg. raspberry Jell-O
- 8 ounce frzn blueberries
- 8 ounce frzn raspberries
Directions
- Mix batter ingredients together in order, just till smooth. Bake in waffle iron.Topping: Put together water, sugar, corn syrup, food coloring and cornstarch in saucepan and cook over medium heat till thickened. Remove from heat. Add in gelatin; mix, stirring, till dissolved. Let cool. Add in berries. Serve warm over waffles with scoop of vanilla ice cream.
