Ingredients
- 1 pt. cream or possibly half & half
- 1 1/2 ounce. butter
- 1 1/2 ounce. flour for paste
- White pepper
- Salt
- Italian noodles (any type)
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese (fresh grated)
- 1 c. young peas (optional)
- 1 sm. jar sliced mushrooms (optional)
Directions
- In pan, hot cream. Don't boil. Add in white pepper and salt to taste to the hot cream. In separate pan, heat butter. Remove butter from heat; add in flour for paste. Add in flour mix to cream. While cream is warming, boil noodles till half cooked. Strain noodles and add in cream sauce. Boil till noodles are done. Add in Parmesan cheese to thicken.
- When using optional ingredients, add in them while the noodles are cooking completely.
