Alaskan Amber Salmon Marinade Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Alaska wild king or possibly coho salmon fillets
  • 6 ounce Alaskan Amber Beer
  • 6 ounce soy sauce
  • 8 x cloves of garlic, pressed
  • 2 x inch 2 inch piece of ginger, finely grated
  • 3/4 c. finely minced cilantro

Directions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients, except the salmon, in a bowl to make the marinade.
  2. Place the fish fillets in a freezer bag, add in the marinade, squeeze all the air out of the bag and seal the bag. Allow the fillets to marinate for 12 to 24 hrs.
  3. Heat up your grill and over indirect heat grill the fillets, skin side down.
  4. Cook till the fish flakes at the thickest parts of the fillet. You can test this by using a fork and lightly brushing it over the area.
  5. The Plate:Serve with roasted red bell peppers and cool Alaskan Amber Beer.
