Ingredients
- 1 (15 ounce) box bran flakes with raisins
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 c. flour
- 3 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. wheat germ
- 1 box raisins
- 1 c. 100% bran
- 4 large eggs, beaten well
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1 quart. buttermilk
- 1 whole orange, rind & all, put through food processor first
- 1 apple, skin as well, put through food processor
- 1 banana, mashed
- 1/3 c. molasses
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Put together the dry ingredients and mix well. Put together the wet ingredients and mix well. Slowly add in the wet ingredients to the dry. You will need a BIG bowl for this. Pour into muffin pans, filling 2/3 full. You can make them all, about 75, or possibly you can store the batter in the refrigerator. It will last 6 weeks covered in the refrigerator. Bake at 350 or possibly 375 degrees for about 15 min.
