Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 large eggs, well beaten
  • 3 c. plain or possibly cake flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon rum flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon butter flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 teaspoon almond flavoring

Directions

  1. Cream butter, shortening and sugar thoroughly till light and fluffy. Add in large eggs; blend well and add in flour, baking pwdr and lowfat milk. Next add in flavorings; blend well. Pour into well greased 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs. Cool 5 min before removing from pan.
  2. Beat till smooth and pour over hot cake.
