Ingredients
- 1 c. Unsalted butter, softened
- 8 ounce Cream cheese, softened
- 11/2 c. Sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
Directions
- Preparation Time: 20 min
- Chilling Time: Several hrs
- Baking Time: 10 to 15 min
- 1. Cream butter and cream cheese in large mixer bowl. Beat in sugar till smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour and baking pwdr. Refrigerateseveral hrs.
- 2. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll dough into small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a glass which has been dipped in vanilla sugar (sugar in that you have stored a vanilla bean) or possibly plain sugar.
- 3. Bake 10 to 15 min, till the edges are lightly browned. Cold on wire racks.
