Oatmeal, it has been a while!

Good morning blueberry

Hazel woke me up EXTRA early this morning, and so even though I had an early morning at the gym, I suddenly had more than enough time to make oatmeal! And I knew JUST the bowl I wanted!

In the mix: 1/3 cup water, 1/3 cup skim milk, 1/3 cup Gluten Free rolled oats, 1/2 tbsp. chia powder, 1/2 tbsp. vanilla whey protein, 4 frozen banana chunks: Cooked and whipped!

DEEE-licious!

Enjoy Life sends me products occasionally so that I can give them feedback. BUT this granola was SO GOOD I just had to share!!

Crunchy with creamy morsels of mini chocolate chips. Sweet with the perfect balance of buttery. Love it!

And it paired perfectly with my creamy, doughy, vanilla oats!

I have to admit I was a little bit nervous about adding in the protein powder.

BUT it ended up mixing perfectly!

I’ve started seriously weight training, and I knew that if I wasn’t eating my “Isn’t She Lovely” then I was going to need to add MORE protein! I also added two scoops of protein to my Green Monster to enjoy directly after working out. Recipe coming soon!

Do you guys add protein to foods or just aim to get it naturally?
