Bacon Tip

Pop your slab or sliced bacon into the freezer before working with it if you plan to dice, chop or fine/shred cut it for a dish. No grease, no break apart, enjoy a faster, cleaner, safer work time and better presentation. Just keep your chef's knife at it's sharpest (I'm sure you do anyway), and realize that rock-hard frozen bacon does thaw fairly quickly. Your dishes will look much more professional, too.

Re: Bacon Tip

Thank you Amos for the tip, very helpful, I would never have thought of it. My family love lots of diced bacon on their pizza, looks and cooks so much better done your way.

Re: Bacon Tip

Beverly, I think you have the wrong group. As far as I know this group is about general cooking hints and tips according to the description of it. I found this group on this website which might suit your needs: http://cookeatshare.com/groups/nuwave-oven-users-82
Hope that helps! Jann
