I'm so pleased with the great response to this group...it's growing in leaps and bounds. Thanks so much my CES friends. Lots of pork recipes...now looking forward to other varieties...bring on the bacon and the ham and the kielbasa....folks! Your humble "Group Creator" N
And let's not forget some truly great porcine byproducts. Yes, byproducts. They are not only found on the labels of pet foods. Who would dare dispute that a pie crust made with anything except lard (and we are not talkin' hydrolyzed product, folks) is inferior in overall lightness, flakiness, texture and flavor! Yes, friends - fat's where it' s at in the kitchen... I love my pig fat!
