Re: Cornbread

Hi Jean,
I have not baked cornbread in the NuWave but have baked many other things with a good degree of success. I approach baking in our NuWave with the idea that if it can be baked in an oven, convection or otherwise, then it can be baked in the NuWave. Since the NuWave is the equivalent to a small convection oven with a max temp of about 350 degrees then I simply use the suggested baking time with the NuWave at full power. I then check the doneness of the item and cook according ly.

God bless and have fun baking!!

Re: Cornbread

I baked a pan of cornbread in my Nuwave oven last night. It was browned beautifully.

Re: Cornbread

Thanks to John Mckane and Jody for your replies. I will try it and let you know how it turns out. Cornbread baked in an oven usually calls for 425 degrees, except for mexican cornbread which calls for 325 to 350............ so I will try the mexican recipe first
