New this week (15 February 2011): Sicilian recipes from I Sicilian

Folks, I've just added some great recipes for authentic Sicilian specialities from Mariana Pisciotto, known in the blogosphere as I Sicilian. Caponata, lemon granita, stuffed sardines, octopus salad, dried fava bean soup and more... !
Born in Agrigento, Sicily in 1959, Marianna now lives in Miami and has been married to her husband Carlos for almost 3 decades. She has one child and 3 grandchildren. She’s a committed cook. Even though she experiments with many different cultural cuisines, her style is mainly Mediterranean.

I love Mariana's recipes and communicate with her from time to time. I hope to meet her at some point since I have bought a house in S. Florida. Her recipes are authentic.
Regards,
Patricia
