About me

Members of the Culinary Content Network. We are Kevin and Angie Van Pamel, two busy Seattleites, working from a tiny kitchen in the city. Experienced bakers and cooks, we're teaching our adult sized kids how to feed themselves and those around them throughout their own lives as they begin to embark into adulthood. We feature family recipes and recipes from around the world that we've come across through travel and friends, detailed instructions, a little bit of music and some pretty lame humor.

Restaurants I Recommend

Dinette (Seattle, WA): Rustic European and American Cuisine in a laid back atmosphere

Heidelberg Huas (Seattle, WA): Authentic Southern German cuisine that will knock your lederhosen off, served by the nicest family in the business.

Ristorante Machiavelli (Seattle (Capitol Hill), WA): No frills, long wait and so worth it and reasonable prices. They don't take reservations but you should really learn to slow down, relax and eat here.

Palm's Crystal Bar (Port Huron, MI): A step back in time to one of the original "Chicken in the Rough" franchises and the best damn fried chicken ever eaten.
