Organic vegetarian food
For better health and compassion reasons, I changed all my homecooked meals to vegetarian style and used organic ingredients whenever possible. I am happily married and retired early from the corporate, now managing my own online eco-living wellness homebased business. Whenever I am free, I like to cook healthy vegetarian meals, including some baking of cakes and breads. My other areas of interest includes Buddhism studies, Chinese Metaphysics studies, craft arts and any subject related to eco-wellness, eco-living ideas and e-business.

Often, I find that chinese vegetarian cooking contains alot of fake meat, usually made from flour with some soy texture and contains high gluten content. I prefer natural protein food like mushroom, beancurd and lentils. If possible, I would prefer to replace milk with soy or oat milk and eggs with flaxseeds and egg replacer mixture. Unless the recipe calls for, I will only use those made from organic soy protein texture as BBQ vegetarian meat recipe.
It is often difficult to find healthy vegetarian meal from food stalls, especially one that is near my place of stay. Due to these reasons, I decided to learn to cook my vegetarian meals from recipes and modify them slightly to suit my family's taste.
