About me
I am a stay at home mother of five kids. That pretty much defines who I am at this point in my life. It doesn't matter that I have traveled all over the country and world. It doesn't matter that I have a college degree. It doesn't matter that I love to garden, shop, create, or learn. It doesn't matter that I can play a concerto on the piano. Right now I am all about being home for my childrenand trying to raise them to be responsible members of society. Four of them were adopted at birth and are now in their teens and preteens. I deal daily with issues like ADHD, bipolarity, depression and learning disabilities. I cook and blog to connect with a saner world.
Cooking Influences
I come from many generations of good cooks. I rely often on family recipes. My grandmother ran a restaurant, my mother catered and taught cooking classes. I am just carrying on the tradition with a technological twist.
