United States Chef
Here is a little info about me.
I am a trained Chef but am not working in that fieled. I am from the Meditteranian and the most exiting thing for me about shopping for food and cooking is the colors of fruits and vegetables. I am also exited that our grocery stores now actually are learning and providing more veriaty in different foods.
I've spent 2 years living in Hawaii, and have a great appreciation for Asian food. My favorites are Japanese and Vietnamese, but I also enjoy Korean food. Do to largest community of Koreans living in Atlanta Georgia outside of Korea we have great selection of asian produce and restaurants available to us. I spent time in Arizona and have a love for Mexican influenced food. Still Turkish is my favorite cuisine, French and Italian food just a short step behind! Like I said I am from the Mediterranean and we first choose food by season than color and most important the flavor. The Abundance of colorful produce at farmers markets make me just so exited to buy everything and bring it home and cook it.
I was influenced to cook by my mother. She owned a Restaurent and loved to feed people. She had such a happy look in her face when people enjoyed her cooking and that gave me the enthusiasm to do the same because there is just nothing more pleasing than to see someone just love your creation and enjoy what you prepared with your own hands.
