About me
I'm a true Southern cook. Grew up in the North Carolina kitchens watching my Mother and Grandmothers cook everything fresh from the garden, farm. We raised our own beef, pork and poultry. Fresh eggs from the chickens every morning for breakfast and we made our own sausage, bacon and ham. No additives in those days. I learned to make yeast rolls, roll my own pie crust and dumplings at a very young age. Every now and then I revert back to those days and prepare one of my favorite home cooked Carolina meal. Brings such comfort in your heart. I love the experiment with new dishes and food styles so I'm always looking for the newest dish.
